Emma Kinley

Emma Kinley

Acting Director

Emma’s background has been saturated in wetlands and conservation, working both federally and provincially, as well as within the NGO world.

Starting her career with an Advanced Major in Environmental Science from St. Francis Xavier University, water quality has been a focus of many of her past roles. Emma has experience with managing environmental field operations, advising on watercourse and wetland alterations, conducting field assessments, leading training, and collaborating with partners across Atlantic Canada.

AWN’s commitment to fostering shared learning and supporting freshwater stewardship resonates deeply with Emma, and she plans to bring her excitement into managing AWN’s projects and delivering training programs.

When not working, you can still find Emma near/on/in the water, as well as gardening, cooking, fencing, or tending to her family.
